Overview :
The Environmental Science Program was established in 1992 as an inter-disciplinary curriculum under the various departments of the College of Arts and Sciences. It has evolved into its own autonomous status with a Program Director and Assistant Director as well as its own set of faculty members

Objective :
The program aims to form technically competent, socially responsible and culturally rooted environmental practitioners who will lead in industry, government and civil society.
Curriculum Description :
The ES curriculum combines the empirical focus of the natural sciences with the pro-active methodologies of management and social sciences. It provides a broad disciplinary foundation needed to address many of today’s complex environmental problems.
