Overview :

Emphasizes the role of environment concerns on all activities, viewed as part of the economic development, to increase the understanding of many aspects of the environment from transport and fate of pollutants to that of endangered species, to know recent ideas and approaches to modern environmental management.

Objective :

To understand the field of environmental studies as an integrated discipline and the nature of its relationship to the surroundings, to know the solid foundation in the natural sciences and the environment, to deal successfully with the environmental problems, awareness of the cultural and historical evolutionary processes for decision making.

Curriculum Description :

4 hours lecture and two hours seminar per week. 

Course Content :

To study the impact of human activities on the natural environment, to conserve, and protect the environment from degradation and deterioration and to implement sustainable development programmes
