To study the impact of human activities on the natural environment, to conserve, and protect the environment from degradation and deterioration and to implement sustainable development programmes
Curriculum Description :
4 hours lecture and two hours seminar per week for one semester.
Course Content :
Urban environmental management, study of urban ecosystems in urban areas, modeling the ecosystem, sustainable development and cities, environmental problems in the cities of developing countries, problems in the disposal of toxic and hazardous wastes, sources and nature of pollution in the rivers of Myanmar, urban environmental changes:- drivers, human systems, urban processes and environmental stressors, biophysical processes, urban environmental change of Yangon City.
