Overview :
A competition designed to encourage students to reduce home energy use. Students are able to login to a specially designed website to enter in their monthly home utility bill data over a four month period. This will be compared with a base control period (four months prior to competition). Students are rewarded for energy use reductions of 10% or more. There are also inter school and intra school competition categories. Cash prizes, book voucher and certificates feature amongst the prizes.
Objectives :
Encourage the reduction of energy consumption in households.
