Realizing that education has played and important role in Thailand country development, the Embassy of Japan has given grant to establish a TEI’s environmental training center, which the name was given thereafter as the Environmental Education and Human Resource Development Center.
Other Information :
The main objective of the center is to serve the growing demands for both formal and informal environmental education as well as information dissemination. The center set up environmental training and education curricula suitable for a wide range of public and private sectors needs. The center endeavors to raise awareness in environmental conservation and technology transfer, including changing human behaviour to use resources appropriate to present environmental conditions. Furthermore, the center also produces and distributes environmental education media for youth, promotes environmental education and is engaged in related capacity building activities.
