Organization Description :
Faculty of Forestry was formed from Vientiane Forestry College, which approximately 9 kilometers north of the Vientiane city center. There are 4 departments in the faculty: Basic science department, Sivilculture department, Wood industry department and Environment department. Currently there are about 85 staff working in the faculty and 1300 students studying in the faculty. The faculty provides education for students at levels of Associate Diploma and Bachelor Degree. At present time, the faculty is supported by the Federal Republic of Germany “Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Techniche Zusammenarbeit (GTZ).
