Overview :
NEW Scholarship to offer youths opportunities to contribute to environmental sustainability. The National Environment and Water (NEW) Scholarship is tenable for a 3 or 4-year undergraduate course in areas relevant to the environment and water sector at local or renowned universities overseas.
Objective :
The NEW Scholarship offers aspiring young talents a challenging career across the MEWR agencies, namely PUB, the national water agency and the National Environment Agency (NEA). Up to 20 undergraduate scholarships will be offered a year for studies commencing in 2009.
