STEA is responsible for the management of the environment at national policy level. STEA works closely with line ministries and Mass organization in implementing environment policies. Within STEA the Department of Environment carries out all activities related to environment management. Within the Department of Environment the Division of Environment Promotion and Awareness is responsible for all EEA activities
