Overview :

Course outline covers nature, source and development of environmental law (Treaties, conventions, protocol and domestic legislations). To acquire benefits from awareness of environmental issues, and the technological aspects of environmental control which reflects the multidisplinary aspect of environmental law.

Level : Graduate and Post Graduate

Certificate Awarded : Degree (LL.B, LL.M, Diploma)

Objective :

To acquire knowledge and education for the environmental management.
To study, analyse and comment on effective legal control of current level pollution in order to prevent and reduce future pollution.

Curriculum Description :

Introduction to law (International and domestic); Legal effect of international treaties; Nature, sources and development of Environmental Law; Structure and function of UNEP; Stockholm and Rio Declaration; Agenda 21; Myanmar Laws relating to environment.
