PEECS has been provided financial as well as technical support by the Department of Environmental Quality Promotion (DEQP), Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in selected schools since 1995. Until today, 51 PEECS have been established.
Other Information :
The main objectives are to develop EE materials and tools in relation to local environmental problems to strengthen the capacity of EE staff in the provinces; and to provide EE tools and materials to teachers in those provinces.
