Land Use and Water Resource Management

Overview :

This program focuses on the planning & management of natural resources (water, trees, animal). Other topics included are ecology, EIA, economics and sustainable land use. Part of the programme is conducted in collaboration with Danish Universities through the university collaboration programme SLUSE and a batch of Danish students will visit UNIMAS for experimental modules. In order to graduate, students have to complete 33 credits which comprise of 16 credits (joint SLUSE modules), 9 credits (joint experimental modules) and 18 credits (core UNIMAS modules). Submission of a dissertation at the end of program is compulsory. Evaluation is based on assignments and final exam.

Certificate Awarded : Masters in Environmental Science in Land Use and Water Resource Management 

Objective :

The objective of the program is to produce a graduate who is well equipped with knowledge and skilful as a policy planner, planning consultant, environmental officer and manager as well.
