Overview :
In this programme, students learn about seashore life and the natural ecosystem. At the same time, they help to clean up the beach as their contribution to the community and to protect the ecosystem of our beaches. Educational materials are provided to the students who take part in this programme, which is jointly developed, by the National Environment Agency and the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) Limited under its Care-for-Nature programme.
Objectives :
To educate students on seashore life and its habitats, harmful effects of litter on seashore life, how to differentiate between litter and seashore items and what they can do to protect the natural ecosystem of the beaches.
